Easy Turkey and Cheese Pinwheel Wraps - featured image

Quick and easy turkey and cheese pinwheel wraps made with cream cheese, perfect for lunchboxes, picnics, or a simple snack. Ready in just 10 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 810 slices deli turkey
  • 810 slices cheese (provolone, cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
  • Optional: lettuce leaves, thinly sliced bell peppers, Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for 20 minutes or microwaving for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese over the entire surface of the tortilla, all the way to the edges.
  4. Place 2-3 slices of deli turkey flat on top of the cream cheese, slightly overlapping to cover most of the tortilla.
  5. Lay 2-3 slices of cheese on top of the turkey, slightly overlapping.
  6. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a log, keeping it firm but not too tight.
  7. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper, twisting the ends like a candy wrapper.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or 15 minutes in the freezer if in a hurry).
  9. After chilling, unwrap the roll and place it on a cutting board. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice into 1-inch thick rounds using a gentle sawing motion.
  10. Serve immediately or pack in a lunchbox. If packing, add a toothpick through each pinwheel to keep them from unrolling.

Notes

Don’t skip softening the cream cheese—cold cream cheese will tear the tortilla. For best results, chill the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Use a serrated knife for clean cuts. These taste even better the next day.
