  • 3 ounces peach nectar (Kern’s or Looza brands recommended)
  • 2 ounces fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (large cubes preferred)
  • Orange slices or peach wedges for garnish
  • Black sanding sugar for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge for wetting the rim
  • Optional: Dry ice or gummy worms for Halloween touch

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glass first: Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim into a plate of black sanding sugar. Twirl gently so the sugar sticks evenly. Set aside.
  2. Fill your shaker with ice about halfway full (5-6 standard ice cubes or 3-4 large ones).
  3. Add 2 ounces of vodka to the shaker.
  4. Add 3 ounces of peach nectar to the shaker.
  5. Add 2 ounces of fresh orange juice to the shaker.
  6. Squeeze half a lime (about 1/2 ounce) directly into the shaker.
  7. Close the shaker tight and shake for about 15 seconds until the shaker feels cold.
  8. Strain the mixture into the sugar-rimmed glass filled with fresh ice.
  9. Garnish with an orange slice, peach wedge, or gummy worm. For extra drama, add a small piece of dry ice (with tongs and gloves) to create a fog effect.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill all ingredients beforehand to reduce ice melt. Don’t skip the lime juice—it brightens the drink. Use large ice cubes to slow dilution. For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka with sparkling water or ginger ale. Handle dry ice with care using gloves and tongs.
