A quick and easy no-cook lunch or snack board featuring salami, cheese, crackers, and fresh fruit. Perfect for busy days, picnics, or impressing guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 slices salami per person (Genoa, hard salami, or pepperoni)
  • 23 varieties cheese (cheddar, provolone, mozzarella), cubed or sliced
  • 1012 crackers per person (Ritz, club crackers, or water crackers)
  • Pretzels or breadsticks (optional)
  • 1 cup grapes (red or green)
  • 1 apple, sliced thin (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup olives (green or black, e.g., Castelvetrano)
  • Nut or seed butter (optional, e.g., almond butter or sunflower seed butter)
  • Honey or whole grain mustard (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Choose your board or platter large enough to hold everything without overcrowding.
  2. Place small bowls or ramekins for olives, honey, mustard, or nut butter on the board in a triangle pattern or along one edge.
  3. Cube or slice cheese and arrange in small piles around the board, leaving space between varieties.
  4. Fold or roll salami slices into triangles or cylinders and place in small piles near the cheese.
  5. Arrange crackers in small stacks or fanned out between cheese and salami piles.
  6. Scatter grapes and apple slices in remaining empty spaces, tucking them between cheese piles and around edges.
  7. Add olives, pretzels, or breadsticks in any gaps. Drizzle honey over cheddar if desired.
  8. Serve immediately, letting everyone build their own combinations.

Notes

Prep ingredients the night before to save time. Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. Keep crackers away from wet ingredients to prevent sogginess. For a dairy-free option, use vegan cheese or hummus.
